wheel straightening

I have a slight buckle in the front wheel of my 1989 R80GS. A quick search of this forum and I can see that Devon Rim Company are recommended. But that was back in 2005. It is mentioned that this is the only place to get them done.

Can anyone recommend anyone who is straightening these wheels, I understand it is a specialist job? Any recommendations a bit closer to East Midlands would be much appreciated.

I've seen/heard of people using Central Wheel

The concensus was that they were good but not quick. Which possibly means they're busy, which could be a good thing. Not used them myself, as I'm nowhere near the Midlands

Thanks for those contacts, I'll probably start with Bob being the closest, much better than anything I found googling.

I wonder if Arriva will get shirty when I take a wheel on the bus... probably
