When heated grips are on, the throttle sticks.
So took the bar end off to put a washer on against the end of the hand throttle.
I have the BMW hand guards fitted.
Noticed that the is a square lug ( sort off), that the bar end slides onto.
But cannot seem anyways to get this off, there is no apparent screw or bolt.
Any body know how to get this off. So I can put the washer on.

In the meantime, I have just tightened the bar end " not overly tight", so hopefully that will be a temp fix.

Thanks

I presume this is the same problem as has been done to death on 1100 & 1200 models.
There are two alternative solutions.
1st solution. Accidentally on purpose drop the bike on the right hand side, making sure the handlebar gives the ground a good smack.
2nd solution: Loosen the throttle body clamp onto the handlbar (2 no.2 pozi screws) and slide throttle body inwards towards the middle
of the bars as far as it will go (around 0.5mm) Tightnen screws again.
