Robbo,

Hope to make it before 2.00. However if I'm not there by then, don't wait.

Hope to see you Sunday

A Grand Day Oot, Gromit!

What a brilliant day out! Ten bikes and their owners (plus 2 pillion passengers) met for lunch at The Clachaig, Glencoe. The weather and company were both excellent. However, prior to meeting up with everyone, G.C., Robbo and masel' met at Lochearnhead and had a braw run up to Glen Etive. The run through the glen to Loch Etive must be one of the best kept secrets on this here planet. What a breathtaking wee route! Here are a few pix of Glen and Loch Etive.

G.C.'s idea to reverse the bikes onto the pier. Worth the effort IMHO...

Ronno, looks like you chose the best side of Scotland for the weather today as it has been sunny one minute and bucketing it down the next. Glad you had a good turn out in the end.

Sorry to have posted these pix individually but I can't get the hang of posting block photographs. Anyway, we had a great run from The Clachaig round by Kinlochleven. On to Fort William where G.C. had to bade us farewell as he had to get back to F.W. in time to give his Mother In Law a Birthday kiss. We then had run over to Dalwhinnie for a coffee stop. Mart P then set off north for home while the rest of us headed down the A9. We all split up at Dunkeld for various folks to go in various directions.

Gents (and ladies), thanks for a most enjoyable Ride Out. It was nice to meet some new faces and see some who are getting more familiar. Days like today is what makes this club so good...
