Where do you put your petrol!!

I have the F800GS and I'm going on a bit of an off road trip to Portugal in April. I have one of these fuel cans, but not sure of the best way to carry it really. Anyone got any suggestions?? (I know the question leaves me wide open for Pish take answers, but if you don't ask....)

Oh, by the way, I'm only taking soft luggage with me. So pannier mounting would be tricky.

I have two of those mounted either side of my topbox. Its got me out of the sh1t once or twice.

DO NOT fill them too much and always squeeze the bottle before putting the top on. Being black they absorb heat and swell! If full it WILL P fuel everywhere.

I now leave the top just a little bit loose so it can vent but not leak. Not much help with mounting, sorry but a thing to note...

Toutatech do a neat mount for that bottle, maybe frame mountable on the non exhaust side?
