Where is the best place to get oil change parts?

Im looking to change my oil this week and I'm wondering where i can get the oil filter removal tool, new oil filter, crust washer etc from, if i can get it all from one place it would be ideal.

Also is there anything there i haven't mentioned which i will also need?

Main dealer prices on filters are not bad. They can also be got at many car parts factors. Because the oil filter can't be fitted by hand they are often over tightened. You'll need a well fitting cup spanner. You might need to drill a hole in the spanner side allowing a screwdriver to be bashed through. My brother's filter was so tight there was no other way to move it - the cup socket just slipped over the filter flats.

If the filter's been over-tightened & the cup socket slips, tap the socket on over some sandpaper or emery cloth.

I did that with plumber's meshed abrasion strips. It still slipped. Drilling the cup and knocking a (small) screwdriver through was a last resort but it worked. The filter case was holed (obviously) but not torn so minimal mess caused.
