I think the scenery is horrible, the people are horrible, the roads are horrible and I hope people take my advice and don't go there and leave it to me!

Akshully, the land between Galway and Westport is my favourite part of Ireland!

My lasting memory of Kylemore Abbey is 3 years ago - Lynda and I were off on our a pre-honeymoon (which was to be on the bike) shakedown ride on the VFR and I had just bought her a new Arai Astro-R. We arrived in the abbey carpark and as I walked away from the bike there was a great thump as Lynda dropped the lid which bounced merrily along the tarmac for some time. That put me in such foul form that we just got back on the bike so we've never been inside the Abbey - you recommend it Ged?
