I didn't hang around - the dog was rarin' to go - so I don't know how they fared but they weren't there the next time I went up

That's the one I mentioned. Well worth the run up. And the puddles will wash the bike As it doesn't go anywhere other than the masts I doubt you'd have hassle with walkers (never seen any there anyway). I'd recommend bringing binoculars if you could as you can see for miles.

Yeah, think I'll take a spin up there next time. Looks like a lot better road surface than that pic you posted, that looks bad enough to walk through, never mind take a GSA
