where oh where is my thingy?

ok where is my gear indicator sensor thingy???>

Fircled around at the rear of the gear box for 10 mins... managed to find (i think)

1) clutch thing at the end of hydraulic hose
2) rear brake thing (at the end of the other hydraulic hose)
3) big plastic thing with a wire or two sticking out of it

Now according to BMW, I can just pull it out and polish it using beeswax (ooh er missus)

So where is the thing to pull out and polish? I cant seem to find it
