Where to put a security chain?

No works off 3G. I just had to buy a wifi extender which I plugged in nearest the garage to make the signal stable. It's record to a micro sd and only on movement. When you get the notification it sends you a screen shot of the person which you can share by whatever means

Yes that's it. You'd be surprised but certain colours are cheaper. I got the blue one.

During the day it would be fine but at night it has little red infrared lights which I'm told just reflect and spoil the picture.

Good find. I just know from experience Amazon are good for returns if needed.

Nice bike and all great advice -
about the removeable posts - you could put 1 in front of rh cyclinder close as poss to bike with a tab going back over the cylinder (upside down L shape) to stop lifting ? would also prevent getting it off the side stand if bike close enough to wall. They cant move bike back so its well stuck !
Or main stand (awkward because of side wall) with 2 such posts (one each side)
Im going to get one of those wifi/ 3g to phone cameras suggested on here for my garage - great idea !

So far.
Almax 4 chain
Oxford loop chain.
oxford Scremer disc lock.
2 x Onguard D locks
Security cam
BMW alarm.
Cover
And a 3 foot nail bar behind the curtain. (plan B

Surly to God they will rob the Bandit a few doors down now.

The fact I have to take these measures is a real pain in the arse. I really hate these scum bags.

A post system may work out a bit easier. But I have run out of money for now. :(

That's impressive. Do you have to get up half hour earlier to get it all off

Iv got the xena alarmed disc lock. I found that if I put it at the top of the disc, it was more sensitive to movement and was a pita on a windy night, but by putting it at the bottom of the disc, it was less sensitive to the wind moving the bike cover.

My DIY system for when parked with nothing to chain it too.
Chain goes between anti pinch pin and center stand, holds it on full lock and on the stand.
Chain stores on L/h side of bike when not used and anti pinch pin doubles for use with the wheel chock in garage, along with ground anchor and chain.

My garage door lock recently refused to unlock. The key worked but latch wasn't moving. I called a locksmith friend who was in within 30 seconds using the mot simple tool imaginable and zero damage. So Im after a bolt to the floor garage protector thingy.

For those with no garage, something like this would be handy (bigger of course). Not too hard to make and hides the bike. Obviously proper locks are needed underneath.

This will last about 30 seconds. They will simply cut the centre stand and ride away with the lock bungee'd to the forks.

Nothing is secure against a cordless angle grinder with a 1mm Klingspor slitting disc. ( I use them all the time for cutting stainless and tool steel).
The torsional load on the center stand is likely to snag the cutting disc before it is cut fully through.
But the thief might not have to get under the bike next to it with his disc cutter. ( when chased by a tiger you only have to run faster than the slowest runner)
I made this to use when away from home and when there is nothing to chain the bike to.

You could also get the chain in the position you have it but going over the drive shaft and down between the rear wheel and suspension spring
