Where to put Datatool alarm

I,ve took a datatool system 3 alarm off my old bike and want to fit it to the 1150 Gs, no room under seat, has anyone got one fitted and can suggest the best place for the box?

top of the air filter cover is the recommended spot for meta alarms, guess the datatool would go there too?

Under the tank, if it is not an ABS model then just in front of the battery, if it is ABS the just to the side of the ABS control unit

Having watched others suffer with Malfunctions and other cock-ups.........they are more trouble than they're worth (IMHO)

If your bike has a diognostic plug on the top of the airfilter box, you can move this forwards nearer the battery and then fit your alarm there, my Spyball is in this place.
