Where to stay in this area ? - Sort of 😀

We is off to the Pyrenees and beyond next May.
Looking for a nice place to stay near Sort or at least not a million miles away .
Not much showing on Booking.com for Sort.
Not stayed in this bit before as we stopped further west in Ainsa last time .

Sort is waypoint 13 but doesn’t have to be there . We’ll be in Canfranc the night before and Cadaques the next night and Sort is bang on half way along the N260

Morning, depending on what you are after, Hotel La Brases in Sort is offers value at about £80 a night including breakfast and parking in one of their massive bike parks. We used it as a base for three nights last month.

I suppose it may depend on how long you want to be in Sort for

We just did it as an overnight and booked on the hoof so to speak

It was a good few years ago and I remember it being quite cheap at the time

Being honest I wasn't overly impressed with Sort but again it was just an overnight and I think that because it is more of a winter sports place ( or thats the feeling I got) the off season made the place feel a bit flat.

Agree. But it works as a base or if you’re travelling through. Think the bookings for 26 mustn’t be open yet!

We’re only there for one night .
Hotel Les Nous wasn’t showing last time I looked but it gets great reviews on Booking.com is up the valley a tad from Sort and on the river with a nice restaurant , so it’ll do fine .
So we’re officially Sorted.
Ta anyway

I stayed above a bar in the centre and parked in the underground carpark. 17e for 24 hours. I should have left it outside the church and saved my money!

I never have any problems but I'm more flexible as I mainly tour solo.

The Parador in La Seu D’Urguell looks nice, an hour down the road from Sort. We’re staying there in a couple of weeks, after Cadaques, with one stop in between, travelling east to west. I can report back if you like

We stayed there in `23, thought it was rather nice with a small pool.
Ate out in the town - on spanish time but ok (when in Rome Rodders, when in Rome...).
