Where's the Euro symbol??

Just got myself a MacBook after countless years with PCs... getting used to it OK and very happy so far but can't find where the Euro symbol is (Alt Gr + 4 on PC) Any ideas??

On the status bar of any page, where it shows you the language you are using, just click that and enable keyboard viewer. This shows all the characters on the keyboard. When it is shown just hold the alt key and it will show you the position of all the symbols.

Ha! Was just about to give up on you there llotse... but perseverance paid off and I now know what the status bar is (I think) and found keyboard viewer, and the alternative characters. Thanks

The status bar is at bottom of Finder (if turned on ) correct? That's what was confusing me - I think
Anyway I got me Euro symbol
