Which 250 enduro bike?

CRF250X will take some beating, Jap reliability and a very good price new at present.

What sort of prices have you seen them for?

£5500-£5700-ish for a 2013-2014 bike. The difference only being plastics colours, the engine and cycle parts are identical.
Registration takes a little bit of doing as there is no CoC available as they are not EU type aproved. But there is a loophole in the DVLA system to allow motorcycles for competition to be registered.
They do not have brake lights, speedo, horn, hi/lo beam so a little bit of work is needed to make them road legal, but all the kit is available a faily cheap price.

Thanks Timpo!

Interested too, Terry Rudd are one of the premier CRF dealers in uk & do some good deals

I spoke with Terry when I was looking for a Trail bike. He came across as a really nice chap, not at all condescending even though I'm sure he realised I knew the square root of feck all about stuff. He was adamant he wouldn't sell me a bike when I told him what I wanted but was happy to talk through other options even though he couldn't sell any of them to me.
