Hi,

Got a r1200gs adventure (2012).

Anyway, hopefully the question is still a common one? What after market seats do people recommend, i want one to crunch the miles! Or are the gel packs just as good?

Cheers

Andrew

Digger Seats has just re-done my low seat. He has taken the crap BMW foam out and reshapes it using different foam and a new cover. Have a look at this link, this is the kind of work he does.
I'll post some pics later when I've picked it up.
I realise this is a bit out of your way but could be an alternative to spending a few hundred quid, he did both seats for £135 so as long as its a decent job will be well worth it, there may be somone closer to you who does the same sort of thing? :D

I have a Bagster seat ,which is very comfy.
It is for sale £110 posted, if its of any interest i can put some photos up.

Tried Sargent, Touratec, and custom with only slight improvement, but by far the best for me is the Saddleman from US off eBay, looks weird with gap in middle but works 😊

Hi, yes some pics would be good? Is it a 1 or 2 piece?

Thanks

Here is the seat.Offered first to the op.If they do not want it then i'l post it on the f/s section.

There is no "best seat".

Different seats suit different shaped arses.

Someone will swear his/her seat as being the best thing since sliced bread, and someone else will say the same seat is crap.

And how can someone know what's best for them unless they've tried them all to compare.
