have just got a 2610 from Swesty (thanks) and need advive as to what autocom intercom thingy peolpe use, recommend remembering I am a a techy thicky.
generally just me on the bike but sometimes manage to convince the better half to come out to play when weather is nice. 9no jokes about how much better not to hear them!) she reads the answers :augie
am hoping to do some IAM observation and Rospa stuff so this may need to be taken into account ie communication bike to bike
all this on a limited budget:(
anyway suggestions advice willingly accepted
thanks :)
hope I this is in correct section mr moderator

My Intaride Evo intercom has worked faultlessly for 2 years hooked up to a 2610, it did need a surpressed lead to cut down on noise though, but thats more likely the bike than anything else. There due to release a new Evo soon which is going to be the most adjustable intercom on the market:thumb2, I'm not connected to them in anyway apart from being a very happy customer :thumb

Pretty much all of what Autocom or Inta-Ride or Starcom will meet or exceed the requirements you state here as the units all expand out with the necessary connectors.

There are also new models released by Autocom and as the previous poster says a new Starcom is on its way.

If budget were a consideration I'd be sniffing around to find the last of any of Autocom's pre-2009 systems as they were all sold off at half price and a Kit 200 (Kit 200 Duo if you require two headsets for rider & pillion), this is the Active-Plus model.

You would then just need the interface lead for the 2610 for now and when you're ready to make the jump to bike2bike you can add a radio and interface lead for that.

Just checking our stock for the BMF show and we only have a couple of Kit 300 left which is the more comprehensive Super Pro AVi model (more bells and whistles) its what I have on mine it would be overkill for your requirements as stated but a right bargain at £125 posted if you can't get your hands on any Kit 200s which are now rocking horse doo-doo

Any of our systems with the correct leads will work fine with the ol 2610's as they are good GPS and provide a lot more volume compared to the Zumo 550's
