Thanks Adam. By the way. Do you know if I should be replacing pins and clips as well as pads. Only 9000 miles done.
Just clean them up and see what state they are in.
9000 miles with lots of salt on the road and not much in the way of cleaning could feck em.
9000 dry clean miles wont...


Chances are they will be fine tho, once cleaned up...
 
If you have ABS brakes don't be tempted by cheaper alternative replavement pads, I tried more than a few well known options and they didn't last more than 2 or 3 thousand miles, so from personal experiance I would save yourself money in the long run and opt for BMW originals, they will last.

Alternatively my GSA has ABS as did my last GS (servo assisted) and both have/had no issues running decent alternatives as supplied by St Eptoe on the link above...
