I recall that RiDe magazine did a pad test years ago and Brembo did best.

Why not email Brembo direct and ask them what the technical difference between their pads and BMW oem are ?

Yes, I'm sure they would be happy to disclose a customer's intellectual property...

But it isnt; unless they are made to a different technical spec. In which case they'd probably refer you to BMW.

My experiences are that most major manufacturers technical department's are exceedingly helpful. Perhaps I have just been fortunate.
