I'm after a 2 piece waterproof suit, must have loads of vents and removable liner, more armour the better :D , just dont want to look like a BMW robot so that stuff is a no no:D any ideas?

you know what everyone will say dont you

RUKKA

what money are you looking to spend?

ive had a rst textile waterproof suit that was pretty good around £200ish

i now have a wolf 'freestyle' textile suit and that was 200ish after discount and haggle.
i was pretty impressed with it, when i rode through a torential downpour a few weeks ago,
i only had the jacket on and regatta waterproof trousers over my normal jeans,
there was a little leakage prob trickled down the neck, but overall i was pretty dry.

thats not me, im much better looking :D

Rev'It

If you can find a local stockist the '07 range from Rev'It is really good vfm. The 'Off Road' suit and the 'Cayenne' are really well made and get good reviews on :adv:

Try liddle , they're doing a range of outfits at the moment.

Then visit the scrap man for all the armour

Lidl

Seconded- Mrs Haydw has a suit from Lidl and has used it for the past couple of years. It seems very good quality and it has NEVER leaked. Excellent value for money.

Unfortunately they didnt do them at the time in fat b*stard sizes so I ended up with Revit- I am pleased with it and the dealers are very helpful. Gericke stuff didnt fit either, but Revit seem to have real world sizes.

Hope this helps

If you can afford it

The safety wear is best
Jacket and trousers are fully CE approved not just the armour. You get a thermal layer, then the armour section and then 2 outer layers(1 summer mesh, 1 winter waterproof)
Jacket £499
Trousers £399
Plus you can buy additional outers depending on what you want.

I'm very happy with my Heine Gericke kit, but then I buy it when I'm in Frankfurt every year and Anna, the pretty, young sales assistant is very convincing in her sales patter.

Thanks for the help, had Rev'it leathers in the past and they were good, plus they came in short leg as well :augie , also had Hein Gericke and that lasted incredibly well:thumb , Rukka I can get tax free and the Halvasons stuff looks excellent but no dealers in Germany :( , time to start looking in the shops :D

I saved a bundel. You live in Germany I had to get a flight from Dublin to Frankfort /Hann ( Ryanair cost €31.00 ) to try on their range of clothing a worthwhile trip
I saved over Euro €400.00
