Which crash bars ?

Spotted this pic in one of the Hogroast threads.

No idea whose bike it is (sorry), but can anyone tell me what make the crash bars are ?

The insert pic shows my SW Motech Bars. Do you think the upper bars would fit onto these ?

Hepco & Becker I think (they certainly do a set that looks almost identical), and I don't think so without modification. The H&B tank bars run horizontally across the bike at the point where the tank bars mount, while the SWM bars have a curve down if you look from outside to in.

Still, shouldn't be a terribly big job to do

They look very much like a set of 1200 ADV bars fitted to a 1200 Nick?

i would expect you'd have to remove yours to fit them?

They are indeed Hepco & Becker's, and are sold by Wünderlich.

I've heard that the upper bars can also be fitted on the original BMW chrashbars, but I don't know if tey'll fit onto the Motech's

Anyone should know thats Matkat and Sue................... They are indeeed H&B engine bars and Tank bars from SPC Wunderlich

Spotted this pic in one of the Hogroast threads. transforms the look and as i ride off road aworthwhile mod, for a whole £1240.00. I think the Motech bars are a different diameter but you could probbaly do something with the fixing point. 10 minute fit, even i could do it !! However, on my bike you cannot get the tank covers off without loosening the bolts................... small price to pay
