WHICH ENGINE OIL TO USE

Am i right in thinking that sae20w50 is the correct engine oil for the 1150gs??

Yes, any semi-synthetic 20/50 will be fine. The next reply will no doubt tell you to use the search button. Just ignore them.

Can be, but if you read the manual, you'll see why I say "can be".

Depends on the ambient temperature according to the riders manual. Have a squint at the table contained in the manual and you will see it gives a few choices.

Thankyou, I read the manual which is why I asked as it gives you various options dependent on the outside temp.
