Which forum !!!

I have only owned my 1200GS since last month, so am a newcomer to UKGSER. It would seem that there are stacks of individual forums, some which often overlap. Am I right in thinking that all postings relating to the 1200GS, should be on the 1200GS forum? I have seen some in the "GS Mods" forum, and some in the "Technical" forum. Do I have to trawl through several different forums to see if there is something of interest relevant to my particular bike?

Is there a "set of rules" or do people post to whichever forum they think is the most relevant?

I am not knocking the website, as I have picked up lots of helpful tips and information. However, some has been found in peculair places!

So which of the umpteen forums would you suggest? I posted it to the 1200GS forum, because that's the bike I've got!

Maybe Martin you need to ask yourself what the subject matter is?

i.e. if it's about use of the Forum as a whole then maybe Beakchat & Bollox (virtual pub) would be an okay place.

If however you need to express what a great bike the 1200 is then this is the place for it.

Whereabouts in Oxon are you located? There's quite a few of us with wonky-eyed beaky-bikes around here now...

AFAIK there's at least 4 other GS owners that frequent this forum close to Oxfordish

The idea of the 1200 forum, as far as I know, is that it's a technical forum for things specific to the 1200.

Mouse, I thought I'd find you lurking about on one of the forums. Do me a favour and look at my last post on GPS Info forum. Thread titled, Garmin Quest Bare Wire Cradle, and see if you know the answer. Couldn't seem to email you direct and thanks in anticipation of a soloution.
