Which Hall sensor?

I need to replace the hal sensor on an r1150r
Trouble is I don't want to pay dealer prices and on fleabay they are asking which connector? either rectangle or in line.
Is there a way of telling without stripping the bike?

I can guarantee you have the rectangle connector .

I have a new AV54 sensor if you want it. Will need splicing into loom if you are handy with a soldering iron.

Just replaced the one on my GS, bought from 'fotosaxy' in Greece and delivered in 4 days...fitted and working as it should

I used one of the Greek ones - no problems, either with purchase or performance!

weve now foun that the wires from the hall sensor have been rubbing on top of the ecu, the wire is bare at the point it touches the ecu and there is some black marks suggesting a short, does anyone know whether this would cause the bike not to start
