What's the correct Odyssey battery model number for a 1200GSA and anyone got a link to decent seller?

Had a think and they are too bloody expensive.......I've got a nice new Bosch for £45 so I've bought 2:D Had a Bosch in there for 3 years and no problems.

One for the bike and one as a spare on the Alaska trip when someone's high power Odyssey gives up the ghost and they need a new one:augie I'm all heart......

if you buy from motorworks the battery already comes modified for fitting, all you have to is re-shape your bracket & slice a little bit of plastic of where it screws to bike and tie any wiring back from it to prevent chaffing.:beerjug:

I like Odysseys, but I've just ordered a Battmat from Busters for £44.95 delivered for mine, they have a good reputation so I'll give it a try. Mine's still on it's original battery............mega unusual I know!

Woth the expense...

I bought my Odyssey battery from Nippy Normans in Feb 2010 no issues so far.

Pictures on NN site are of my bike - I wanted to confirm I had fitted correctly and got response immediately.

This winter, even after 5 or 6 weeks of not being used over New Year, my GS started 1st time. My GS is parked outside and no optimate or similar charger in use.

For me it has been well worth the expense.

None. Waste of space. I've had two failures and friend has had one:eek:

With that 'logic' I'm surprised any cars or motorcycles are still out on the road

I replaced my oem battery after it proving unreliable and the Odyssey has been great :thumb2

Motobatts in the GSA and R1100R.
No wiring gymnastics as they have dual terminals.
Need a little spacer made up to fit under the retaining strip on the 1200 GS/GSA though and the fit for the larger fitment into a 1100/1150 is um 'tight'.
