Hi All,

Not long picked up my 2013 LC GS its a TE version, so came with Sat Nav pre-wiring.

Does anyone no whether the Nav 4 will fit or do I need a Nav 5 unit for the thumb wheel to work?

Will a Zumo 660 fit, and operate with the wheel?

I'm guessing that at nearly half the price of the Nav 5, the Zumo is not going to work with the BMW wheel!!

I did try to do a search but nothing really useful came back

The Zumo 660 will work perfectly well on the BMW mount, you just can't use the thumb wheel It all depends how much you're willing to pay to use a thumbwheel!

Nav 4 will work with the wheel as long as its got the latest software updates downloaded, thats what ive got on mine.

I had the 660 and there good but the Nav V is so good, and the hand wheel is spot on :thumby:

I have just upgraded from a 660 to the Nav v, not tried it yet but it looks great!

I am going to order a new RT, I know let the abuse begin, in the next few weeks. Has anyone used the 660 on the new factory fitted sat nav mount? I already have a 660 and I wouldn't feel as bad having this nicked from the non locking mount as a £600 nav V. I know the wheel will not work, but as long as it charges, turns on and off I will be happy using the screen as I tend not to play around with things to much when I am on the move.

You might be better asking in the RT forum for a definitive answer but if it's the same mount and internals as the K1600 then the 660 will probably work and charge but that's it.

Yeh Nav V is braw. Got it for £550 from BM. Its a lot of money but it works really well with the bike.
