Hi John, you`ve opened a can of worms here! :thumb2

Loads of options to choose from, HiD`s, FF50`s, PIAA the list goes on :D Myself I`ve got a pair of Hella FF50`s as my spotlights & a pair of PIAA 001`s as running lights (the PIAA relays are crap BTW) on a Migsel lightbar. I`ve got +50 % bulbs in the headlight & mainbeam. I seem to do half my riding at night with working shifts & found this setup excellent, I`d like to try a full job of HiD`s but can`t justify the cost :augie My setup cost me about £150 ish :thumb

Here`s a couple of links to be going on with :thumb2

I got a pair of Ring Illuminator 3 projector beam foglamps from Halfrauds to enhance the piss poor headlight on my Yamaha TDM 850
Only £44 including the wiring kit with illuminated rocker switch & relay you have to buy separately (Whole lot comes in gloss black)
I had to make a couple of basic brackets out of flat bar to hang them from the fairing brackets, but they aren't bad at all for the price & certainly enhance the illumination. :thumb2

Recently got hit with import duty from the US and this might be a stupid question buth why is there no import duty from blinglights. I looked at their site and the prices are excellent for us in euro land

I have a set of FF50s on a bar.. but they've never been used since I put in HIDs in both main lamps.

They make the FF50s look like candle lamps!

Once you've seen the difference a HID makes, you'll realise how that was the best money you spent on the bike. (and it's about the same cost of the FF50's, bar and switch!)

You honestly won't need any other lights.

There low cost and you wont get stung with the import duty..Ive never had to pay any from them.:thumb2

When i ordered a shock from Risse Racing I got hammered! £25 and the mountain bike shock only cost £110

You wont get import tax... email Jason who runs it :thumb

Thanks Mike yea I think they might just come under the radar here too

Bling Lights

I ordered a set of PIAA JDM Extreme Driving Lamps from Bling Lights on the 17th. Payment is very easy and at £42.00 (P&P included) it was the cheapest I could get it for by far. I'll see if I get hit with import duty. Jason was very helpful and he was very quick to respond to my e-mails. I mailed him on Saturday and he replied back twice the same day. Service is 150%. I wanted to go for HID but 4 broken exhaust bolts put an end to that idea....Hope to do HID next year.

WIll let you know when thye arrive and if I got hit with importt duty.

If your just looking for the Mosses effect then get a set of Rings from Halfords for 30 quid and make a bracket yerself, a switch and relay from Maplins is another coupla quid. Does the job. I didn't bother wi the blingy type stuff as I'm gonna fit some cheap Chinky HID's to the headlights soon.
Alternatively a plod type flourescent jacket moves sleepy car drivers outta the way even quicker.
