which tyres?

Hi,my R100/s 1981 will need new tyres soon.
Any recommendations please,its got conti,s on at the moment and they tend to white line a bit.
I always used to run Metzelers, anything better around?

Know what you mean about white lining with the Metzlers.

Ive put Conti Go's on my 100 RT. they bseem pretty good though I still have to see how they wear. The old metz's were crap but thyey were a bit old and hard.
The Co's are a pretty reasonable price too,

are BT45s any good on beemers? 'cos they're bloody marvelous on a lot of old bikes

BT45's

I fitted Conti Go's to my RS, they handle nicely but the wear rate is pretty high. BT45's handle nicely and wear well.

I ruin the Avon RoadRiders on my classic Vincent, and I'm impressed. A definate from me.

Life seems good (over 8k on the rear so far) the bike handles well in both wet and dry
