Which way first ???

Off to Morocco solo in April. Got almost everything ready, I'm taking a month off so my dilemma is should I got south first & work back north or go north to south ? Never been before so don't really know how much time I'll really need.
Using Scott's guide but routes are not structured enough for me.

Advise please.
