I need to get to Twickenham from Lincoln.
Is it best to use the M25 and come off at the M3 or go via the north circular road?
This would be around teatime on a friday so it is probably busy on both routes.

Thanks for advice guys :thumb2

Going next friday - I used to drive on the north circular some years ago (22 to be exact ) and it was a little busy then. I know that the M25 is busy at anytime of day but then it hasn't got traffic lights and turnings like the A406.
A1-M25-M3 it is then:D

easy peasy then, M25, M3 which becomes the A316, straight road to Twickenham, look left for the Rugby stadium :thumb2

agreed.. easy peasy along M25 past LHR and onto M3 head in the direction towards Sunbury (approx 5 miles) which then becomes the A316 (speed limt of 50 mph and camera by shell petrol garage) afterward speed limit reduces to 40mph and continue along A316 to Twickenham roundabout and hook left for the Rugby stadium.

You won't miss it as you can expect to be in a long queue and following the rest :D after Sunbury,
