I'm interested in fitting an aftermarket exhaust but I'm not sure which way to go.

A full Akrpovic at £1000+ is too expensive. but most other options are possible. I'm interested in owners' experiences
1. noise
2. performance
3. slip on only?
4. slip on plus downpipes?

thanks:beerjug:

Full BOS for me too :thumb2

Run a search on BOS, Remus, Akra, and exhaust in the 1200 section then sit back with a cup of tea and have a read - loads of useful info.

As has been said lot s of posts on this subject so the search button is your friend, but If I could only make one change it would be to ditch the cat with an after-market set of headers, even with the stock can it makes the biggest difference.:thumb

+1 - change the headers and leave on the standard end can :thumb2

Changing the headers makes the difference and plenty out there from Keihan, Remus etc :thumb Got mine from Keihan in Redditch and it`s superb and didn`t want or need an end can.

However, I`ve given into the dark side and got a Scorpion end can and the noise is lovely....!!

Scorpion Can

I have a 12month old Scorpion can if anybody is interested.

BMW one for me

Leave the original one on and spend that grand on ferry tickets and fuel

you know it makes sense!:thumb
