White Coffee....

Hi,

Had an interesting experience yesterday. We had a company lunch at 4-seasons hotel, quite ok. When we ordered coffee, I ordered "white coffee" meaning with milk...

Coffees came, and for black coffee, people got a big cup and a coffee pot of - coffee..

Mine came and it was a jug of hot water..... where's the coffee? Luckily one of the guys told me that it was Rose Water, and right enough when I smelled it, it was fragrant! Tasted a bit of it, still afraid i was actually meant for washing my hands, it was interesting we can say.

I think the polite thing to do in that country and situation is to stone the waitress to death ....and then re-order your coffee.

Fax machines:

My first day on the new job and the phone rings.

I answered and the guy on the other end asked if I could fax diagram of a machine to him.

Mmmm…It’s my first day so can give me a moment to dig out the parts book.

Sure no problem he replied.

Ok, I think I have it.. was it the 4” pipe threading machine with the 3 phase motor??

Yeah he replied that’s the one.

Cool, I just get your fax number, , oh just one thing before I fax it off to you, will you make sure to fax it back as it’s the only copy I have…………..

Funny you should say that, just back from Italy where I ordered myself a latte. Got a funny look but thought it was my dodgy Italiano accent.
Waiter brought me a cup of milk!
Needless to say I sat and drank it.
