All fixed now, and running sweetly. Thanks Proff, and everyone else who chipped in. When I re-aasembled the enrichener on the right hand carb, I assembled the shaft the wrong way around. Turned it 180 degrees... the job's a good 'un

I did it myself many many years ago, took me a long while to sort it
