Who’s ordered one ?

Triple black looks good....R13000...should go some
Nice video
Johnney forigner .... but he has one before the UK , or does anyone know any dealers that have one in yet.
Triple Black looks OK. Not sure about the fancy green/gold but it's different.
ive ordered the black as I just did not get the green , odd choice by the Germans , but colour choices in the past have be questionable , remember the brown one ...yuck

Going to look at some tomorrow hopefully

The UK dealer launch is the 4th November, have you seen this video.?
The screen and deflectors flapping about look shite....

I've heard that the 1150 was the pinnacle of the GS's and that everything that followed was shite :)

Yes, we go down to Reiten now, even tho it’s over an hour further away.

Perhaps I'll stick my name down a test ride with Reiten. They're "only" 40 miles away. Mind you, that's closer than Bahnstormer were when I lived in Surrey.

Okay, watched n read most stuff on the new steed so far. Those that have seen it saying "does not looked as rugged" so.......GS1300 for the sporty guys n gals, not forgetting a HP version? and the new 13/1400 GSA next year (with the lowering at slow speed) for the mile munches...........clever marketing?

I like it. It will have a distinctive headlamp signature. Well wear the pioneers.

Now let me see, I got my GS at 9 years old so that will make it 2032 for me on this bike, the teething problems will be ironed out :)

Well, the good news is they look a lot better in the flesh than in photos (y)

Like the new finish on the engine (hope it stays on there) and the finish on the rear subframe is nice too, a bit like the grainy paint on Triumph frames, not so keen on the white subframe on the trophy model, even the green one looks OK, personally I’d go for the twipple bwack

the headlight is less hideous in the flesh too, it’s actually a lot smaller than it looks in pics

the seating position is nice, the bars are better placed than on the current model, leg room feels maybe slightly better, definitely no worse

wifey loved how easy it was to get on (so did I) with the uppy/downy suspension, that’s a box to tick (y)
it’s also incredibly light and easy to lift off the side stand compared to the current bike

seats look a bit cheapo and felt surprisingly hard, that could be a good thing or a bad thing, only a long ride will tell

the brake calipers are actually Brembo

The bad news is I’ve got a test ride on the 28th, and we all know how that ends up don’t we :spl1f:

here’s some shitty pics that don’t do it justice………

In the flesh the bike looks compact with good good-looking build and all bits well well-finished.....the build integrity seems a big step up. Sat on the trophy and white versions and the seat/bars/pegs seem more comfy but that's a superficial reaction.

White seems to emphasize the traditional beak and looks OK , the Trophy looks like......the Trophy, maybe with fussy details.

It does look more compact for sure.
