Who made this? TAG? The French?

A couple of years ago I found a bunch of photos of this (or a nearly identical bike) in various stages of assembly. They were modern photos taken within the last few years. Anyone know where I can find them?

I guess if you can find out who rode bike 176 in the 88 Paris Dakar you will have a starting point. The sponsors would suggest it's a French machine

styling is very similar to Jutta Kleinschmidt's 87 HPN machine http://www.w-onroad.de/gs/juttakleinschmidt.htm

She ran an unfaired machine in the 88 though

Bingo! That's the one I've seen all the photos of. I seem to remember it was up for sale a few years ago and somebody took very nice detailed photos of every bit of it - even with both tanks removed. Did anyone else download those and squirrel them away somewhere?

So was there much frame bracing on the rest of the machine then? Doesn't appear to be much in the usual places pioneered by HPN etcetera

I also seem to remember that Sycos bike had little or nothing in the way of bracing.. Quite amazing when people are always going on about how important this is, when you've got machines that you'd think must have been competitive racing in the Dakar with little attention paid to the frame that they're only going to bimble around on in their enourmous gardens

I remember that there was, but I can't remember where or what specifically. Maybe if you find all those photos for me, we'll know for sure.
