Who's going to France this year! Then read on.

Sounds like the French equivalent of London's LEZ, except that the French are using coloured stickers instead of London's ANPR approach.

It's the same in Berlin, stave a van out there a couple of years ago and had to use vehicle Vin to get approval minimal cost. Don't get worked up about it it's coming to the Uk, with many more cities are going to run similar schemes. Good idea to start removing dirty old diesels off the streets.

Why drive in a European City. Public Transport works in Europe. Park up in a nice Hotel on the outskirts. Get public transport in. See the sites and have something to eat and a beer. Nothing to worry about.

Citys should be out of bounds to all traffic. Feel sorry for the people that have to live in them and their health.

Except the stupidly-expensive ANPR system will register all vehicles in and out and catch all (ok, most) transgressors. The French scheme is going to need someone looking for stickers in car windows. Aha! It's a scheme for providing employment.

I'm not sure I've read it correctly but I'm sure I'll be put right if needed. The category for a Euro 4 motorbike starts 1st Jan 2017 and the Euro 3 is 1st Jan 2007 to 31st Dec 2016. Does this mean in France the Euro 4 engine wasn't available last year? If so does that mean owners of last years bike get a Euro 4 or 3 sticker?

Thought I'd put the link I used up;
