Only in France
Been chatting to a fellow biker in Paris who I work with. Quote "Usual Chaos and will be like the breathalyser shit only won't go away"
Hire car companies don't tell the customers and they are getting fined. He went to explain it is being enforced in typical French style. Some bikers not bothering or just getting the cheapest and nothing happening. A lot of fake ones doing the rounds too.
In and around tourist spots really heavily enforced. He has seen one spot check bit like in Austria since it started. It is the patrolling car parking bays where they focus. I guess it's back to that old topic of, are parking tickets enforceable abroad and what happens?
Euro 4 2016 bikes he said it is down to the ticketing person. Law is strictly 2017 onwards but most would not know what a UK 66 plate was. If it looks Euro 4 you would get away with it. If it's a speeding thing and they check, then you are screwed.
I better dig those bloody reflectors back out.
