put the eject/close button under the tray on cd-roms so they are so awkward to reach when the tray is open

i know you can just push the tray in, but i'd rather use the button :(

Discussion with support technician

Major brand computer manufacturer called D**L:
Tech - " Hello, my name is [insert name]. How may I help you?"
Irate Lady Customer (No, I'm not being sexist) - "I want to complain about the computer I just bought from you."
Tech - "I'm sorry madam, what seems to be the problem?"
ILC - "I ordered a computer and it was supposed to be able to play CDs, but there's no CD player fitted. Oh yes, and while I'm at it, the cupholder has broken!"

Yes, ejecting is easy. But as cookie said, getting the tray back in is the problem.

My DVD rewriter (primary, chnl 2) closes itself when I boot if it's open but the CD rewriter (secondary, chnl 2) doesn't. I don't know if that's a thing with the firmware (if drive open > x seconds then close) or something else. It would be nice if the O/S had a close feature like it has an eject feature.
