I've just taken the plunge and bought a Dell Mini9 netbook, which is really small and ideal for taking with me on my travels...
However, this has coincided with a sudden increase in the depth of the headers on UKGSer, so much so that when I open up a browser window, I get a screenful of header, whereas before I got to see something useful....
Is there any way to swtich the headers off?

, switching to full screen makes a bit of a difference, but there's still far too much screen real estate used up by the header, and I get tired wrists scrolling down to read all the very witty posts (Garfield's especially
) 



) is unnecessary and the stale uninteresting photos are plain sh1te.. (relevance of a picture of a bun on some hanflebars that I've seen a few thousand times
