Very happy with Öhlins, chose them over Wilbers because of the quality name. Best piece of money I have spent on my GS. As for Wilbers, I have no experience but they come recommended by many...
Ohlins. Expensive but the best money you will spend on your bike. The difference is staggering.

well thanks for your answers i have disscussed the merits of both to swmbo and the price differance on both and i have been told to buy the one with the yellow springs as they go with the colour of the bike better 
so i might just paint the bmw ones yellow and pocket the money 
but really i am waiting for a price for front and back with delivery for the yellow and gold swedish suspenders

Come to Baskerville & you can try mine out....
WP Suspension in the sale - less expensive. The price and the difference is staggering. And once you add in all the options (remote pre-load, compression and rebound adjustments etc) the price differences are impressive!

Never tried Ohlins....
Use Wilbers which are very good.... set up to your own spec. choice of spring colour and come with a 5 year warranty too....

where is the best place to buy/speak to for set up and a price for the wilbers shocks
i would love to come to baskerville but my job means i only get thursday's off from middle feb to end of october so i am sorting 1150gs for next year along with a job change. so many places to see, so many people to meet.
