Hi All,
First post in here so go easy !
First week in August I intend to ride from the Northeast down to Dover for the ferry / tunnel for a trip over to France for about a week. (Seems like it’s the only half sensibly priced route)
Intention is to then wing it a bit with no more of a plan that head maybe towards the Voseges and Black Forest or Normandy / Brittany depending where the weather is best.
I don’t intend to book campsites but just google the night before and work out where I want to be the next day and see what’s available.
Question is, am I being a bit daft and will I end up sleeping in a bus stop ? Are smaller camp sites likely to have availability or will everywhere be chokka ?
Thanks for any input
