G'Day Guys
If I buy a second hand Streetpilot 111, with a data card reader in the package. Can I download my Mapsource City Select/ Metroguide Australia stuff direct into the card and use the unlock codes, of which I have already paid for???

Yes. no probs

The SPIII should come with City Navigator Australia either v4 or v5 (which is current)

If you have not already bought MetroGuide Australia then wait.
The new version of CNA, version 6, will include the same rural coverage as MGA and cost about the same for an upgrade as to buy MGA

CNA v6 is expected mid to late May

Sizes;
CNA v4 is 45 MB
CNA v5 is 61 MB
CNA v6 is expected to be just over 140 MB

MGA v4 is 48 MB

The Streetpilot111 I was talking about was an US model,does the same thing apply.

I already have the MGA CD,but if I am understanding you correctly,there will be no neccessity to buy MGA for the better outback coverage in the future,just buy CNA 6???.

You can get a second set of unlock codes if you own a second GPS unit. I'm a little confused, though - when you bought the software, what did you use it in?
