I need something with a backrest for the Mrs (bad Back aand needs some support) from the ad would this fit a 2009 GSA?

Only if you buy the GS1200 mounting and support brackets which will probably ad another £150 to the job

Yes it should. Looks like all bits are there. You just need to remove the existing GSA rack if fitted.

The carrier and brackets are all there.
You just need to remove your existing rack.
Very simple job to do.
