Played around with the Tobinators today to try & find that magic setting. Started with it tilted back, which was by far the best I've had it, but thought it could be improved upon so moved it, Doh. Then spent the rest of the day riding between junction 6 & 7 of the m3. Still not as good as it was at 09:30 this morning. Theres not a problem with buffeting, but the wind noise is still more than I'm used to. Took out the Hornet straight after, which has a small fly screen fitted. The noise at 100 was about the same as the beemer at 70. Do I need to think about a change of screen?

wind noise

Hi Baz, how tall are you? I'm 5'9" and had the same problem even with tobinators, i seem to have eliminated most of the buffeting, but still have a fair bit of wind noise. I've cut off the lip of the standard screen and then added an extension from a
Deauville screen. I've been messing about with the screen (and others like a wunderlich) for months, and this is about as good as i've managed to get it. Still noisier than a Pan though....
