Ultimately that's what the tobinators give you - a better air flow balance around the screen, albeit with some adjustability built in (which you don't get on a GSA).

Good thing with your solution is that it costs 0£$£$ - so definitely worth a try.

The 'gap' down below seems to solve the buffeting. I find it quiet, still some airflow (which I prefer), and this way no 'barndoor' fairing on...and I can see the road!

I believe this is the 'MRA' mentioned earlier, just sold through a different channel.

Got an MRA (from Jaws on here - good price and excellent service) and tobbies. Seems to work OK for me at the moment, but I am always in search of a quieter ride.

BTW, you should have your head and eyes up and be looking far ahead not down at the ground in front of you...too late then

Areotrim...Windblast?

Hi,
Dumped my Tobinators within two weeks of getting my GS.
Sick of the shaking screen. I'm over six foot and fitted an Areotrim to my GiVi screen. Works brilliantly, Visor up 80mph plus. Cheap as well.
Do a search for "Areotrim" to see more info.

I found on my gs1150 to set the standard screen at its 'lowest setting' and its good for motorways if I set it higher it gives me the buffeting problem, I also have the seat at its low position & i'm 5 1/2 foot (short)
