Beta is not very stable, from the brief fiddle I've had with it, seems to be reluctant to turn off, and IE8 hangs. But I've put a test version of Kaspersky a/v on it, so that might be partly to blame.

Havent tried it with Kas. IE8 was flaky for me as well, one thing I saw was the drop downs on ukgser.com stopped working after a couple of days and it generally was a bit in several areas.

unless you get it via torrent.

...which might be necessary anyway as i understand you need windows PC + IE7 to download from MS.

I think the Technet site will have beta versions after then, although you can never be certain with Microsoft.
