I currently have a Windows, running 7HP, laptop, but intend buying a Mac in the near future and need a pointer from those in the know.
I'm wanting to create written docs , which I would usually do with Microsoft Word. As this won't be compatible with Mac (?) then I need advice as to which format I should write in. Are there any compatible doc formats that both users can utilise or do I need to wait until I get the Mac, or can I use MW and use a programme at a later date to convert it to Mac compatibility?
Current formats on my lappy are:-
Microsoft Word
Journal Document
Text Document
A Google search reveals that a Mac Word prog is compatible with Win '97 .... but beyond Win '97?
