a nice new sony laptop came my way for £425 VAIO VGN-N21M.
running vista home premium.on my old compaq which ran xp i had at the top of the screen[left hand]back,forword,X,and refresh how do i get refresh to show on my new one:nenau 'HELP' pretty please.
no doubt more questions to follow:eek:

tooooooooooo late already got it.it's hard enough for me with windows let alone learn another system.and i've not mastered xp and now vista.
this modern world is way over my head.as i said in another thread.
how do you invent/design an MRI scanner :nenau
 
I still get bewildered everytime I'm in a plane and it takes off...how does it do that and not fall out of the sky.....:rolleyes:
 
Just to the right...

of the URL entry linethere are two buttons, first one, two blue arrows, one pointing up and one putting down, hover your mouse over that and it will show Refresh(F5). Thats your refresh button......:D

my compaq laptop has been ace for over 5 years but the W button stopped working :eek:.then the power pack went west :tears:tears.
and as i no longer work and spend hours on the bleedy thing i went hunting for a cheap replacement.this nice new one was all on its own with no price on it.i asked one of the dopey sales geeks about answer 'you dont want that one sir' you want the 2008 model =£699.no i dont:eek off he trotts and comes back with managers special price £425 :bounce1.
and i was looking at cheap sh-te for more money and it's been upgraded to 2gb memmory and 120gb hard drive.
=one happy bunny,other than spendy more of my saving's:eek:
pc world are due to have some sony units back in anytime now for £499 which is still a cracking price for a premium product.:thumb2
