Windscreen no 3... Cracked.

My 3rd replacement screen has started cracking again around the fixing points. I had been told the last time BMW had come up with a fix and this one would be OK. Anyone else's cracking on a supposed newer "fixed" screen?
I ride with it in the high position permanently and it never gets adjusted.
It still vibrates a lot more than I'd like... I presume this is stressing the plastic where it's all fixed.

Had 3 screens on my 2013 bike, the latest one had the modified mounting and it survived without problems - my 2015 bike screen seems to be fine so far, 2000 miles.

Are you sure that you got the 'new' screen and not just another old one?

I'm using the mra smoked screen which is slightly bigger and it wobbled like a fat chick on a tight rope . Bought some screen brackets from Normans (cymarc ) and it stopped it , well good as going to get and much better

Not sure. I was told it was the updated version but who knows now. I'll have a chat with the dealer tomorrow.

Had several - the newer ones have got a larger more obvious "hole" at the mounting point
