Just bought a new 1250 GS and I am finding the screen very noisy indeed, no matter what position I have it in.
Has anyone found the 'silver bullet' screen yet that is a cure for this?
I am 6ft tall.

Yes, shrink! I am 5' 6'' and find the standard screen in the low position perfect - trouble is everyone is different, it is not just height but shape, helmet etc. Good luck.

I'm 6'2" with a 1250 GS fitted with factory comfort seats (a no brainer option for £30 extra when ordering the bike) and also found the standard screen noisy, had a ride on my friend's 1200 GS fitted with the Puig touring screen. The difference was night and day for me. Ordered the Puig screen along with Cymarc support brackets and very pleased with the result. I don't tend to move the screen much at all now, maybe a bit lower in hot weather and never have it fully up as I'm looking through the screen and don't like it. I got the light tint screen and also Wunderlich light tint touring hand guard extenders. Good match, well chuffed.

GSA screen + MRA X-Screen Touring version.

Hi,standard screen with puig spoiler im also six foot you can ride with visior up at 70,80 mph:okay

I’m 6ft 3in and get some buffeting on the top of my helmet (ooh Matron!) on my 1250 GSA. The screen is different (bigger?) on the GSA so it might not be as bad as your GS.

If I hunker down a few inches everything is calm and quiet so I’ve got on my Xmas list an MRA Vario Touring Spoiler which I hope will do as good a job on the Beemer’s screen as one did on my Tiger 1050 where it made a huge difference.

I’m not sure if there could be a magic bullet solution that would suit everyone – too many variables. I can’t make an absolute prediction of success for the MRA but at least by having it as a Xmas present it won’t cost me anything to find out :)

I’m 6ft tall, but relatively short in the leg, so I sit quite tall on the bike. I put the MRA Vario screen on my 1250 and it works very well. Lifting my helmet visor at ‘motorway speed’ is not a problem.

GSA screen + MRA sport spoiler. I think this smaller sport version of MRA is big enough and probably causes less airflow pressure on the screen. I have the cymarc support brackets also. Very good combination!

+1 with Cymarc bracket to stabilise it. only problem is at full extension you have to look through it so I tend to have at lowest or mid position

Puig brackets here, you don´t have pressure screws to release, and yes you have to lookt through it at the highest settings (I´m 1.8m) but the lexan is really clear so, no problems there
