Wings Exhaust

You hate me don't you :(

Andres

Not at all...I'm just a part of the 'now now now...I want it now' generation. I fancied doing it before we went to France. (Chicken strips motherfucker...we'll see :D:D:D I'm getting it bored out to 1500 and a turbo fitted)

Ah well, if it's like that, I'll take mine out of rain mode this time...............

As arsey said I wouldn't put a wings exhaust on an SD either, I'd save up get the Akra system and then go to hilltop, even if it was 2k...I'd save up , or compromise with an Austin system maybe

Good job we're all different then :D

(I honestly don't understand why everyone is so obsessed with Akropovic pipes)

I spoke to chappie at Hilltop today about changing pipes/filters/sas removal. His words were to keep it standard. He said as it was a Euro 4 compliant engine there were quite big gains to be had.

Likewise :confused:

There was a time when they produced ultra sexy kit but that was a long time ago. Now they seem to make big, fuggly stuff and charge stoopid money on the strength of their name. There's much better value stuff out there which is as good if not better quality and, most importantly, looks a hell of a lot better.

Akra = bling for sheep

Andres

I actually think the SD Akra looks good but it's one of the few that does..... (I'm not just saying that 'cos it's you Melchy :kissy2 )

true enough , horses for courses I suppose , I actually lost power from stock fitting an arrow system to an RR once.( with the baffle)
I've just fitted a termi system to my MTS , an the biggest reason was the noise and pops and bangs , even with the up map though it definitely needs to go for some hilltop treatment.

Enjoy getting rid of your chicken strips :)

Agreed..I am not that impressed with the quality really either. It blows slightly from a couple of places via the riveted pieces. Not so's you can hear it but you can see a little soot blowing by.

Oh, of course you are. :bounce1
