I emailed Gaz - no reply yet

I will, more than likely, pick the bike up off him on Friday afternoon so will check his plans then

My plan was to ride up on Friday too, but that may get scuppered by work in which case I'll drive up later on the Friday evening.
Last time I spoke to Gaz to book one of his bikes he was pondering whether to come along or not. If he decides not to, does anyone have any capacity to collect a bike from him on my behalf? If not I'll try and get to him first thing Saturday morning to collect.

By the time we have breakfasted at the pub ,and got suited n booted etc
That gives us 6hrs playing and getting back before dark,
We can have a break early afternoon at the Yonderman or somewhere

The bikes are only 15/20 mins up the road so you can easily drive/ride up there Sat morning after breakfast and be back by 10am

I don't want to appear all wimpy, but I'm a bit concerned over the numbers.

Should we split in to two or more groups? The Peak gets really busy at weekends having 12 or 16 bikes coming past you when you're walking down a path isn't necessarily conducive to promoting green lane motorcycling.

Im probably going to have to give this event a miss, my bike is my only means of getting to work so can't risk any damage taking it offroad. Id have no other means of getting to work whilst it was getting repaired. I couldn't commit earlier to hiring one off skygod as I didn't know what child care commitments I was going to have over the weekend. Have a good weekend guys

Tis a fair point.....as long as we're able to get 2-3 ride leaders

Phew! When I saw the mention of overtaking walkers I was a bit concerned as I wasn't planning on going that fast
